“I love the excitement of the creative journey, my goal is to inspire joy.”

About_howth_001

I have always been involved in creative expression, I had a successful music career as a composer, performer and later as a record producer working with many internationally acclaimed artists in the 80’s.

I was born in Dublin. I grew up beside the sea in Howth, when it was an undeveloped natural landscape, a paradise for a child with great inspiration to create.

I started my painting career working at Sullivan Blooth studios painting the animated 80’s Spielberg movie ” An American Tail.” At that time I made a decision to study painting so I enrolled myself into the Dun Laoghaire College of art part-time and later into the National College of Art and design.

“As my understanding and experience of art developed I discovered that colour was a very prominent influence in my work. I likened it to the way music could move you on many levels through the mood and drama of its rhythms and patterns.”
